Areas we cover

Mainland Great Britain, worked from a yard in Manchester on our own lorries. England, Scotland and Wales — not Ireland, and not Northern Ireland.

Where we work

Manchester base, national reach

The honest version of a coverage page: what we can genuinely do, what costs more, and what we do not do at all.

The yard is in Manchester and the North West is home ground. A unit in Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire or Merseyside is a short run for us, and that shows in what we can offer and how quickly we can get a lorry to it.

Beyond that, we work the length and breadth of mainland Britain. Yorkshire, the North East, the Midlands, Wales, the South West, the South East and Scotland are all territory our lorries cover. What changes with distance is the transport cost sitting inside the job, not whether we are willing to come.

That distinction matters when you are ringing round. Plenty of firms will say they cover the whole country and then find a reason not to travel. We would rather tell you at the enquiry stage that a single small unit at the far end of the country is marginal — and equally tell you when a load of six makes the same trip perfectly sensible.

Region by region

What coverage looks like in practice

Regions rather than a list of towns, because a list of towns on a page like this is usually invention. If your postcode is on this island and not across water, start with an enquiry.

Coverage across mainland Great Britain
RegionStatusNotes
North WestHome groundGreater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire, Merseyside. Shortest runs, most units through the yard, most flexibility on dates. See portable cabins Manchester.
Yorkshire and the HumberCoveredAn easy run across the Pennines. Regular work around the West Yorkshire conurbation and the Humber industrial estates.
North EastCoveredStraightforward on the trunk routes. Worth combining units where you have more than one to move.
West and East MidlandsCoveredWell served by the motorway network. Distance rarely a deciding factor on anything but the smallest single unit.
WalesCoveredNorth Wales is close to home. Mid and West Wales take longer because of the roads rather than the mileage — allow for that on timings.
East of EnglandCoveredCross-country rather than motorway for much of it. Multiple units or a return load improve the numbers.
London and the South EastCoveredAccess and timing restrictions matter more than distance here. Tell us about permits, weight limits and delivery windows early.
South WestCoveredLong runs, particularly beyond Exeter. Single small units are marginal; multiple units or a decent unit make it work.
Scotland — Central Belt and BordersCoveredRegular territory. Glasgow, Edinburgh and the corridor between them are workable on the same terms as northern England.
Scotland — Highlands and islandsCase by caseAssessed individually. Anything involving a ferry is generally outside what we can do.
Ireland and Northern IrelandNot coveredWe do not work across the Irish Sea. Neither do we cover the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands.

The counties and cities inside each of those regions

People search for a cabin near a town rather than near a region, so here is the geography spelled out. This is not a claim that we have a depot in any of them — we have one yard, in Manchester, and everything runs from there. It is simply what each row above actually contains.

What distance changes

Mileage moves the price, not the answer

What it affects

The haulage element of the job. Diesel, driver hours and how much of a day one unit consumes. On a purchase that comes out of the figure we can offer; on a delivery or a removal it is part of the quoted price.

What it does not affect

Whether we will look at your unit, how carefully we assess it, or the standard of the collection. A cabin in Devon gets the same appraisal as one two miles from the yard.

What improves it

Volume and timing. Several units at once, a compound clearance, or a collection that pairs with a delivery already going that way. Flexibility on dates helps more than anything else.

If you are at the far end of the country with one tired cabin, say so and we will tell you honestly whether it stacks up. That is a more useful answer than a site visit that never gets booked.

Getting started

Wherever you are, it starts the same way

  1. Send the postcode

Not the town — the postcode. It tells us the run, the likely route and whether there are access restrictions we should be asking about.

  2. Send photographs of the unit and the access

Outside, inside, roof if you can get a view of it, and the approach from the road. Access photographs matter as much as the cabin ones and get forgotten twice as often.

  3. Tell us how many and by when

One unit or fifteen, and whether there is a fixed date. Both change how the job is planned and whether it can be combined with other work in your region.

  4. We come back with a straight answer

A price to buy, a price to remove, or a plain no with the reason. See what we buy for the condition side of that decision.

Coverage questions

Is there a We Buy Any Cabin near me?

We work from one yard, in Manchester, and run our own lorries out of it across England, Scotland and Wales. So there is no branch near you, and there does not need to be one — the lorry comes to your postcode, lifts the unit and takes it away, or brings one and sites it. What being further from Manchester changes is the haulage figure, not whether we will come.

Do you really travel the whole of mainland Britain?

Yes, for the right job. A single small cabin four hundred miles away may not stack up on its own, but the same trip makes sense for several units, or for a unit worth collecting. Rather than guess, tell us the postcode and what is standing there and we will say plainly whether we can make it work.

Does distance change the price you offer for a cabin?

It changes the transport element, which is part of the same sum. A unit in Greater Manchester carries less haulage cost than an identical unit in Cornwall, so the figure we can offer differs. What does not change is whether we will look at it. Availability is not the issue; the arithmetic is.

Do you cover Ireland or Northern Ireland?

No. We work mainland Great Britain only, meaning England, Scotland and Wales. Sea crossings put a job outside what our own fleet can sensibly do, and we would rather say so on this page than take an enquiry we cannot fulfil. The Isle of Man and the Channel Islands are outside our area for the same reason.

What about the Scottish Highlands and islands?

The Central Belt and the main trunk routes north are workable. Deep Highland jobs and anything involving a ferry become difficult and are assessed one at a time rather than promised in advance. Send the details before you make plans, particularly if you have a fixed site handover date.

Can you collect from several sites in different regions?

Often, and it is usually the cheapest way to move multiple units. Contractors finishing a framework across a region typically have cabins scattered across several compounds. Give us the full list with postcodes and we will plan it as a run rather than pricing each collection as if it were a standalone trip.

Do you deliver as well as collect?

Yes. Units we sell go out on the same lorries that bring units in, and they are sited where you want them rather than left at the gate. Transport is quoted as its own figure alongside the price of the unit, because what it costs depends entirely on the distance and the access. Tell us the delivery postcode and what the approach is like at your end and we will price the haulage properly.

Give us a postcode and we will tell you straight

Anywhere in England, Scotland or Wales. One unit or a whole compound, buying or selling — send the details and we will say what we can do and what it costs.
