Looking to sell
Got a cabin standing idle? We will price it
Contracts finish, sites close, yards fill up. A cabin that is doing nothing costs you space and eventually costs you money to get rid of. We buy units in every week — from builders clearing one unit off a finished job to hire companies disposing of a whole fleet.
We do not buy every cabin. Condition decides it. If a unit is sound and worth refurbishing we will make an offer. If it is not, we will tell you straight away rather than waste your week, and we can usually still quote to take it away instead.

Four steps, either direction

Tell us what you have or what you need
Use the quote form. If you are selling, photographs of the outside, the inside, the roof and the corners tell us most of what we need. If you are buying, the size and layout will do to start.

We come back with a straight answer
Normally the same working day. If we cannot help, we say so. If we can, you get a figure and what it includes — not a range designed to be renegotiated later.

We agree a date
Because the lorries are ours, the date we give you is a date we control. We will tell you what access we need and what has to be clear before the lorry arrives.

We lift, load and settle up
The Hiab lifts the unit straight off its base onto the trailer. Payment on collection for units we buy; delivery and siting arranged for units you buy.
Why the transport matters
We own the lorries
Most cabin dealers subcontract their haulage. It works, until the haulier reschedules and your collection slips a fortnight while a cabin sits in the way of the groundworks.
Our Hiab fleet is ours. That means we can commit to a date, we can price the transport accurately instead of guessing, and we can take units out of awkward positions that a standard flatbed and a hired crane would not manage. It is also why we can quote for jobs a long way from Manchester without the cost becoming silly.

Not every unit is worth buying. When a cabin has reached the end of its life, it still has to leave the site — and that is a different job with a different price.

We do not run a fixed stock list here, because used cabins move too quickly for one to be worth reading. Send us the size, the layout and roughly what you want to spend, and we will tell you honestly what is available and what it will cost delivered.

Before you get in touch
Do you sell cabins as well as buy them?
Both. Most of our work is finding the right used cabin or container for a customer and getting it delivered. We also buy units in, which is where a lot of our stock comes from. There is no catalogue on this site — you tell us the size, spec and budget, and we come back with what we can source.
Do you really buy any cabin?
No, and we would rather say so plainly. We Buy Any Cabin is a name, not a promise. What we can offer depends on the condition, the age, the size and where it is standing. Units that are structurally sound and worth refurbishing are the ones we want. Badly water-damaged, fire-damaged or stripped units usually are not worth moving.
Where do you cover?
Mainland Great Britain — England, Scotland and Wales. We are based in Manchester and run our own Hiab lorries, so most of the country is a day trip. We do not currently cover Ireland or Northern Ireland.
Can you collect the cabin yourselves?
Yes. We own our transport rather than subcontracting it, which is the main reason we can usually give a firm collection date rather than an estimate. The Hiab lifts the unit straight off its base, so you do not need to arrange a crane.
Will you take a single cabin or do you only deal in fleets?
Either. A single unit sitting in a yard is worth a conversation, and so is a fleet of forty coming off a finished contract. Multiples are usually simpler to price because we can plan the transport around them.
How quickly can you look at something?
Send photographs through the quote form and we will normally come back the same working day with an indication. Firm offers need us to see condition properly, either in person or through good photographs of the roof, the floor and the corners.
